Facilities for Babies and Children
Strollers
From 12 September 2011 until 30 June 2012 the departure hall in the airport terminal is being expanded, to provide more space for our passengers. During the construction work, passengers will have to exit the departure hall via stairs in the terminal building.
For that reason, strollers are not allowed through the security checkpoint during this period.
Please check in the stroller at the airports' Special Baggage desk.
Baby Changing Facilities
All the handicap toilets are equipped with changing tables, provide comfort and privacy for passengers travelling with young babies. There are one handicap toilet in every toilet facility.
Toilet facilities are situated in the check-in hall, the departure hall and in the arrival baggage hall. See Terminal Map.
Baby Food Facilities
Facilities for warming baby food can be found in the HMS Host restaurant The Foodhall, before Security check.
Travelling Through Security
Baby milk and baby food are considered to be essential items and therefore you will be able to carry the milk in bottles containing more than 100ml in your hand luggage if necessary. However, you will be asked to taste the milk to prove its authenticity.
Jars are preferable to cartons as the jars are easier to check and can be resealed.
Nappies and wet wipes are permitted but any creams, pastes, lotions or gels must be of no more than 100ml maximum placed in a 1 Litre resealable clear plastic bag as per the restrictions on liquids.
You may pack jars of food and prepared cartons of sealed formula milk in your hold luggage.
A pushchair or buggy may be taken through security search. You will be asked to remove your baby for a few minutes as the buggy will need to go through the x-ray machine separately.
