Published: 24 October 2008
Today passenger No. 2 000 000 travelled from Stockholm Skavsta Airport. It is the first time in the history of the airport that the 2 million mark occurs within a calendar year.
During 2007, a total of 1 995 000 passengers travelled to and from Stockholm Skavsta.
- Passing the 2 million mark is a milestone in our history and actually in the history of Swedish airports as it is many years since this last happened, says Stockholm Skavsta's MD Dot Gade Kulovuori. This year we expect passenger figure to amount to approx. 2.5 million.
Passenger No. 2 000 000 was Diana Kelder from Stockholm, who was celebrated with flowers and refreshments in Alpha's "The Bar". Furthermore the lucky passenger received vouchers for 2 Ryanair tickets, a hotel night in Connect hotel on the airport, vouchers for the airport shop and a Europcar rental car. Diana Kelder, who travelled to Lübeck, already looks forward to her next trip.
