The desire to travel continues at Skavsta

During October 245 111 passengers travelled via Stockholm Skavsta Airport. This was an increase of 5.9 % compared to the same month 2010. Since January almost 2.3 million have passed through the airport. This is an increase of 4.9%.
- This autumn we have seen more passengers eager to travel than ever before. Certain periods many of the aircraft have been fully booked, says Dot Gade Kulovuori, Managing Director of Stockholm Skavsta Airport. Could it possibly be that people are preparing themselves for a cold Swedish winter? The comfort is that there are nice destinations to travel to even in winter and also that Sweden is beautiful for incoming tourists – we offer snow!
