Passenger information on Samsung Galaxy Note 7

Published: 08 June 2017

Restrictions from EASA(European Aviation Safety Agency) regarding Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Since the affected devices can overheat and pose a safety risk, we are asking consumers with an original Galaxy Note 7 or a replacement Galaxy Note7 to power it down during the flight.
Whenever carried on board by passengers Samsung Galaxy Note 7 must be kept turned off and do not charge while on board on the aircraft.

Immediately inform the cabin crew when a device is damaged, hot, produces smoke, is lost, or falls into the seat structure.

Passengers who own the Galaxy Note 7 model should refer to the manufacturer's website www.samsung.com or EASA:s website www.easa.eu for clear instructions and advice.
