2nd anniversary for Wizz Air at Stockholm Skavsta

On 1 July Wizz Air celebrated their 2nd anniversary at Stockholm Skavsta Airport. During this period Wizz Air has flown more than 210 000 passengers to four destinations from Skavsta.
The first destination was inaugurated two years ago when the first flight departed for Katowice outside Cracow in Poland. Two weeks later the route to the Hungarian capital Budapest opened. Since then a further two destination have been added, Warsaw and Gdansk which makes means that all Wizz Airs four based are covered from Skavsta.
Worth mentioning is that the amount of passengers from Skavsta to Gdansk has almost quartrouppled since even Ryanair opened this route a couple of month's ago. The focus on a destination has had a positive effect for both airlines.
At present Wizz Air operates 32 routes between 17 European cities.
