New environmental permit

Published: 31 January 2007

Today Stockholm Skavsta Airport received the Swedish Environmental Court decision regarding increased traffic at the airport.

- We are very pleased that the court has ruled that we now can grow to 75 000 aircraft movements and 6 million passenger/year. Now we can continue our planning for the airports future, knowing that we have the permit for future expansion, says Joakim Lindholm, Operations director at Stockholm Skavsta airport.

The court decision did not contain any major surprises. In all major parts it follows what we had in our application. Investigation and reports regarding flight paths and drain water is already started and will be handed in to the court in due time.

In our daily business we work with environmental questions and the courts decision confirm that we are right on track.
