Stockholm Skavsta broke all previous records

2008 became the year during which the airport passed the 2 million mark by a wide margin.
The passenger streams improved by impressive just over 24 % compared to 2007. At the beginning of the year expectations were around 2.5-2.6 million, however the last couple of month's slower development affected the result.
The accumulated figure for the year was 2 479 887 happy travellers.
The airlines Ryanair, Wizz Air, Fritidsresor and Gotlandsflyg all increased their passenger volumes during 2008 compared to 2007.
