Travel appetite continues at Skavsta

252,182 passengers flew through Stockholm Skavsta Airport in May 2011, which is an increase of just over 8% compared to May 2010.
Since the beginning of the year 961 458 passengers have travelled via Skavsta. This is an increase of 2.2%.
- It is always satisfying when numbers increase, and I think that the whole aviation industry had hickups a couple of weeks back when the volcano Grímsvötn woke, says Dot Gade Kulovuori, Managing Director of Stockholm Skavsta Airport. We would rather not have another ash cloud. The scare affected one flight only at Skavsta before the danger was blown off.
We are now happy to even offer the new destination Sevilla which opened during the month of May.
