Reconstruction of airport terminal

Now the reconstruction of Stockholm Skavsta Airport's terminal building begins.
The reconstruction means an enlargement of the gate area and security check area. The gate area is expanded by approximately 670 m2, which will create better flows and give more space in the departure hall.
The expansion of the Security Check area will give space for more flows can fit and ventilation of the terminal will also be improved.
During construction work, some of the gates can not be used and sometimes passengers will have to exit the departure hall via stairs in the terminal building.
For that reason, strollers are not allowed through the security checkpoint during this period. Please check in the stroller at the airports' Special Baggage desk.
The entire construction project is scheduled to be completed in June 2012.
