Limitation of liquids in hand luggage from 6 November

From 6 November 2006 no liquids of any type are permitted other than the following items:
- Liquid, gels, pastes and spray in containers of up to 100 ml.
The containers shall fit comfortably in one transparent, resealable plastic bag that does not exceed 1 litre. The bag must be completely sealed.
- Liquids for medical purposes and special dietary requirements, including baby food, during the trip.
NOTE: The definition of liquids includes gels, pastes, lotions, liquid/solid mixtures and the contents of pressurised containers, e.g. toothpaste, cosmetics, hair gel, drinks, soups, syrups, perfume, deodorant, shaving foam, aerosols, etc.
All liquids shall be presented at screening points for examination.
