April grey month at Skavsta
Published: 04 May 2010
- The result for the month of April was gloomy and grey, says Dot Gade Kulovuori, Managing Director of Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
A paradox when we did not even see the volcanic ash cloud that caused the nearly seven day halt in commercial operations! Until 15 April we were about 10% up compared to the same number of days in April 2009 and although the traffic resumed it has been a bit on the slow side the first couple of days.
172 946 persons flew to and from the airport during the month. This was a decrease of 19.7% compared to April 2009. The accumulated figure for this year is just above 0%, 707 648 passengers.
