Covid-19 regulations at the airport

Here we have gathered information about how COVID-19 affects the airport and you as a traveler.

It is your responsibility as a traveler to keep up to date on the rules that apply to entry and exit from Sweden, as well as what rules apply in the country you are travelling to or from. You may be denied boarding of the aircraft or entry into the country if you do not have the correct certificate and documents with you. Arrive at the airport, at least two hours before your flight departs. It takes extra time to check Covid travel documents and long queues may therefore arise.

At the airport

Stockholm Skavsta follows guidelines and recommendations from EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) and ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) and the Public Health Agency of Sweden. At Stockholm Skavsta, these rules apply until further notice:

  • Keep your distance from other passengers and staff, about 1.5 meters.
  • Stay at home if you feel sick.
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and use hand disinfection.
  • Sneeze/cough in the arm fold or in a handkerchief.
  • It is mandatory to wear a face mask in the airport terminal and on board the aircraft.

At the airport, we have expanded cleaning and regularly disinfect surfaces such as door handles, handrails, counters and card terminals. Containers with hand disinfection are located around the terminal.
