Ryanair to close base – but operations continues
This week Ryanair advised Stockholm Skavsta Flygplats AB, that, due to unforeseen events outside their control, the company has opted to temporarily close the base at Stockholm Skavsta Airport starting coming summer season (starting 29 March 2020).
Stockholm Skavsta Airport will continue to be served by Ryanair with aircraft based elsewhere. This will mean, however, a decrease in aircraft movements and destinations served.
Flights to/from Malaga, Alicante, Milano Bergamo, Edinburgh, Gdansk, Krakow, Napoli, Poznan, Prague, Pisa, Thessaloniki, London Stansted, Warsaw Modlin and Zadar will continue. Please refer to Ryanair.com for further details.
Passengers with already booked flights to one of the suspended destinations will have, or have already, received information from Ryanair directly.
The operations of Wizz Air to/from Vienna, Budapest, Tuzla, Skopje, Gdansk, Katowice, Warzaw Chopin, Wroclaw, Bukarest and Belgrade continues as usual, as well as Laudamotion’s flights to/from Vienna and Dusseldorf Intl. All news
