Announce your requirement

The EU regulation requires that passengers with reduced mobility announce their assistance requirements to the airline at least 48 hours before flight departure.

Booking of Special Assistance is made directly to the airline when you book your flight ticket, or in addition to your booking. The airport will automatically receive information about your need for assistance from the airline.

Hidden Disabilities – we provide the Sunflower lanyard

Stockholm Skavsta Airport has joined the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network to support people with invisible disabilities as they journey through the airport.

The lanyard, which includes a simple Sunflower image on a green background, is a discreet way to alert employees at the airport, that the passenger may require some extra support or just a little more time. The Sunflower supports people with disabilities that may not be obvious to others, such as autism, dementia, mental health issues or learning difficulties.

It is not necessary or possible to order the Sunflower lanyard before you arrive at the airport. Those who need a Sunflower lanyard can easily pick one up at Airport Information Desk free of charge.

The Sunflower lanyard does not automatically provide access to Fast Track or priority boarding.

Announce your arrival the airport

According to the airlines regulations, passengers who ordered Special Assistance are due to announce their arrival to the airport 2 hours prior to scheduled flight departure. At Stockholm Skavsta Airport, please contact the Airport Information desk in the Check-in hall.

Restrooms

You will find restrooms for disableds in the check-in hall, in the departure hall and in the arrival hall. Please see the terminal map.

Parking

Parking dedicated for vehicles with disabled permits is located just 10 metres from the airport terminal and also in the Indoor Car Park. Click here for more information.
